My name is Lauren Lawrence and I am a Toronto-based photographer and film maker, serving the Greater Toronto Area. I specialize in Family and Product photography, as well as making gorgeous and memorable montage and promo films.

I have enjoyed taking pictures for as long as I can remember, but I took a leap of faith in 2011 and left my demanding corporate job to pursue a career as a photographer. I have taken many photography classes, workshops, mentoring sessions, and I have traveled across the continent to train with some of the most amazing photographers.

After living in Los Angeles, California for eight years, I moved back to my hometown of Toronto, Canada in mid-2013. I love living close to my friends and family, being able to walk everywhere, and all the amazing things Toronto has to offer! I love everything about Toronto except the weather – I would be lying if I didn’t admit to missing the California sun.

I have heard people say that you’re either born a photographer or you’re not – I was no doubt born a photographer. Classes, workshops and books (of which I have taken and read many) can teach you the technical aspects, but ultimately it is the person behind the lens that captures great pictures.
